Tony Saunders is a Bass and synthesizer player, who is the son of a world-famous keyboardist, Merl Saunders. He deals in jazz, gospel, R&B, and Pop genres. Saunders is also an arranger, music producer, composer, and head of a studio. Tony has won 2 Emmys. He has a musical family background, he began to sing when he was only five, and when he turned eight, he started playing the piano. He was a student of Herbie Hancock and Sly Stone. Sly offered him an organ at the age of 10, and when Saunders was 14, the bass became his next instrument to conquer. He grew up surrounded by many great musicians due to his father and his cousin Eddie Moore, Sonny Rollins, Dewey Redmen, George Duke, Jimmy Smith, Stanley Turrentine, and a few more were all there for Tony to listen to and learn from.
